"My coworkers were usually friendly and helpful. It was nice working to help people."

"I wouldn't bother. Go get a retail job working with less chauvinistic customers and management."
What don't you like about working at Home Depot?
"Cashiers were viewed throughout the company as the grunts - sales representatives to customers - there was never respect shown to us."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Realize that without cashiers and their customer service skills, the company wouldn't make nearly as much profit as it does. Show the cashiers that they are appreciated, especially by honoring them during Cashier Appreciation Week. Don't just ignore their hard work and punish them when they lose motivation."

"Good Salary, Good Benefits, Good Medical Coverage, Dress Down Attire"

"Think Twice Not A Pleasant Place too Work For. You Will Work for your money"

"Very Demanding, called in on day off, no time to breath,management toothfaced.made to look like idiot sometimes"

"I would treat my employees like human beings, I would hear both sides of a story & not just side with customer."

"the smiles on the customers faces and how friendly they were"

"boss did not want me to leave the front in and and get a chance to move around in the company to a different department"

"let employees move around if they have ben there for awhile and give them a chance to move up and do not make empty promises"

"I really like the work environment the company culture as well."

"I would suggest that people go in with a great attitude because even though it didn't get me quite exactly where I wanted to be, it still got me pretty far."

"I don't feel like there is enough room to grow with the company like there used to be."

"I think there needs to be more middle management positions, so that there are more opportunities for people to have a stepping stone in order for working into higher management."

"I think the only thing I enjoyed at McDonald's was the customer interaction."

"A job is a job, but always keep looking for something more than this."

"They would always schedule me on days I asked off 2-3 weeks in advance. It was a minimum wage job. The workers were immature and would always try to get others in trouble."

"Harris Teeter has a pretty great environment to work in."

"That the company closed down in Inglewood was bought out by Home Depot."

"The management at Lowe's was really good at their jobs and they were really fair."

"Just be honest and stay focused, and it will all pay off."

"I was not happy at times doing returns, but only because some of the customers had brought back stolen merchandise and wanted to return it as though they just bought it themselves."

"I wouldn't change a thing. It was a really good experience working for Lowe's. I would like to go back but they are not hiring at this moment."

"Just be yourself, be up beat, smile, enjoy working with kids, and you should have a lot of patients."

"What I don't like about working at this company is that most of the time we are under staffed and the employers that are working is stretch to their limits."

"The main suggestion that I would have is to make sure that the employees are not stretched to their limits, make sure that there are plenty of employees available so that everyone will not be so stressed out."
