"Started in 2015 when we were preparing to rebuild the plant and install new equipment from Italy. After I took over the Controls for the float line, we set production and up-time on a monthly basis until the rebuild. In 2019 Carlex brought in new management from Indiana, and they had no understanding of the glass process, or managing a facility this large. All new projects were stopped, could not fix broken equipment properly, so the profits and efficiency of the plant dropped quickly. It was a great place until the management changes in 2019."
