48 Shift Supervisors from Caribou Coffee submitted salaries.
Caribou Coffee is an American coffee shop chain based in Minneapolis, MN. Founders John and Kim Puckett were inspired to build a coffee shop by their trip to the remote wilderness of Denali National Park in Alaska. The couple opened the first Caribou Coffee location in 1992 in the Minneapolis area, and the Caribou chain quickly spread outside of Minnesota. Although the Pucketts sold off their controlling share in the company in 1998, Caribou Coffee continues to uphold its founders' original ideal: to serve customers top-quality coffee drinks in a cozy, welcoming environment.
Caribou currently has over 400 locations in 16 U.S. states and the District of Columbia and 126 international locations. The second-largest coffee shop chain and coffee retailer in the United States, Caribou has a dedicated customer base and shares the American coffee shop market with Starbucks, its much larger competitor. Caribou offers dozens of coffees, teas and espresso-based drinks. The company also packages its own brand of coffee for sale in Caribou Coffee shops and supermarkets.
Caribou Coffee employs over 6,000 baristas, shift supervisors, managers, analysts, sales representatives and other specialists in its Minneapolis headquarters and its U.S. and international shops. Employees who work 20 hours or more are eligible to receive medical, dental and vision insurance benefits, and long-term employees can take part in a 401k plan.
Director of Operations is the highest paying job at Caribou Coffee at $125,000 annually.
