CareStar Employee

"I've worked for CareStar for almost 5 years. CareStar spends a lot of effort into developing an internal mindset that everyone is in it together and that employees are valued. There is limited follow through on this. Management frequently lies, exaggerates, or deflects when challenged on issues. Employees are told they can challenge or question issues, but are then chastised for doing so. Employees who do this too much are either let go or forced out of their positions. Departments are frequently told there is no budget for additional staff, despite individuals being expected to carry almost 50% more than the normal workload. However, when the twice yearly review comes around we are making record profits and our surplus funds are immense. CareStar is the epitome of a backhanded, promise everything and deliver the least amount possible company culture towards their employees."
