SQL BI Developer

"I am a Certified MS SQL Server BI Developer with 4 years working experience with SSMS, SSIS and SSRS from Version 2012/2016. Currently I am working at Cardinal Financial as SQL BI Developer, where I develop complex SSIS packages for ETL purposes using various transformations to extract data that have received from customers through multiple means such as online, email, fax, purchased leads, inbound calls and referrals. So, my role is developed ETL solution to consolidate the loan applications that are received into one Loan Application Database and validate the loan applications for all the required fields and for field format. Cardinal Financial receives the mortgage applications through different Input Sources such as Excel Source, DB Source and XML Source needed to convert and load into one Loan Application Database. To transform the data from the above sources into format that can be inserted into staging database, I have developed various complex SSIS packages for ETL purpose using various tools and techniques. For example script task: to validate excel to make sure all the required columns are there, File System Task, Execute SQL Task, Data conversion Transformation- to modify the data types of the output columns according to the data types of the OLE DB Destination, multicast Transformation to send single data input to multiple output paths, Merge transformation to merge data into a single output, Conditional Split to send the data from a single data path to various outputs or paths based on conditions that use the SSIS expression language, sequence containers, for loop and for each loop containers and etc. I have also used variables to store values. I have also created Error Handling Package to validate data for all the required fields are present or not and verified the length of specified fields like Phone numbers, SSN and Zip codes are according to Appendix. If there are any problems with the applications, I sent emailed to the loan officers to have"

Loan Officer

"I thoroughly enjoyed working at Cardinal Financial. My manager was great and the company was strong. I was busy every day and had tools to learn more. The only "problem" I had was that there was very little support to help get your feet off the ground. The pay structure was very fair and the people were great."
