"I've been with the company for almost a year and a half now. At first, it seemed like a great company to work for. Little did I know, that if you don't negotiate your salary upfront, you're stuck with it forever. You're not allowed to work from home, but during inclement weather, it's expected. I've come in early, left late and it is not acknowledged and/or appreciated. You can tell how much it isn't appreciated when they give you a 2% increase as a raise."
"My main complaint is the lack of flexibility at work. There are very old fashioned attitudes about what it means to be a good employee and how to get ahead."
"I love working for CBS. The hours, and the work quality are all fantastic."
"Great coworkers but managers don't know how to lead and they don't take responsibility for anything and always protect themselves blaming the employees. Great words from Network management" "This is not my job.""
"The company has a large amount of expat that are under qualified for the job."
"There are some really good people and a lot of so-so legacy employees that feel entitled to the job. Japanese management is poorly trained and severely lack communication."
"Like every company, there is always good and bad. Enjoy working with people in my business line. There are some really forward thinking individuals and we always strive to move the organization forward. There are a lot of legacy employee that feel entitlement and just sit and what the time go by. This offends me personally. The current CEO has an Emperor mentality, but I don't let that affect me."
"The company had been acquired recently which created a layer of complexity making it difficult to accomplish my tasks. The products are top notch. The solutions we sold were considered the best in class. I enjoyed representing the products and the brand."
"I've worked with Canon and it seems to be a very good company."
"Very comfortable environment to work in and ability to think outside the box. very good teamwork throughout the company."
"I am looking for work from home opportunity with 20-30% travel domestic/international. Hence, considering this opportunity."
"I have spent 5 years at Canon, while my first 3 years were great because the management team was made up of old federal managers from other companies. The last two years were very disappointing because the management team changed from a customer centric philosophy to silo focus management structure."
"The Canon brand is a growing company in the Boston area."
"Good company to work for."
"Canon is a good company but more importantly was the quality of the people."
