"I worked with the government of Canada as a coop student, and once after graduating. I was given tremendous amount of support, and the work was very meaningful. The environment was great, and collaborative. I got to work with various stakeholders, directors and VP level executives."
"I really like what CFIB does, which is represent the interest of independent businesses. They provide a lobbying voice so independent businesses have an equal say as the large businesses that have their own full-time lobbyists. The problem with working there is their compensation model. Having a rural region is very difficult because the amount you make on renewals or new business often doesn't even cover the gas and wear and tear on your vehicle."
