"Be realistic about the shows you bring in, actually KNOW what the venue can and cannot support. Don't be so petty when it comes to little touches like lunch/dinner on a 14hr day. And at least ACT appreciative of several long days of hard work - stop with the 'we're all a big family and have to support each other', because that means nothing when only one group is giving all the support and doesn't even get a 'thank you' - you make yourself look silly and out of touch, and it does NOTHING to help morale."

My co-workers are brilliant and passionate about their work. I have the ability to enable their work on a daily basis and get continual feedback on my efforts."

"The pay is absolutely miserable. I would not be willing to work in a corporate environment for this level of pay. Additionally, I am the lone programmer in the lab. I would very much like to work with a team of programmers and have a better opportunity to develop my coding skills."
