Again, this is only from my experience. Management needs to wake up and accept the reality of what this company does. Instead of reorganizing the worker bees, start looking at upper management. Workers will do what you tell them to, if the head on the horse doesn't know what direction to move the legs then the horse will be lost. This is the fate of Caliper as I see it. I know they've been having layoffs and this will save the jobs of the executives for a short period of time, but not the fate of the company. My advice to Herb would be to get back to basics and become more in touch with the legs of your horse. Because its hard to make a good decision when upper management is blowing smoke in your face. I always had great respect for Herb and think he can make things work, but the people who surround him seem to be his biggest weakness.
