What do you like about working at US Geological Survey?
"This was a stable environment that let me do a lot of field work. I worked with some of the people that developed the original US satellite technology."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"If you are looking for a stable career that will last the rest of your life, go for it. If you are looking to be challenged in your day to day work, look elsewhere."
What don't you like about working at US Geological Survey?
"The government is more interested in stopping people form steeling money than in getting work done. It was difficult going through all of the paperwork to get authorization to do the actual work."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Management was good to me, I have no complaints at all."

What do you like about working at NovaStor?
"I worked with a crackerjack team of developers. I learned something new from them every single day. I had a lot of exposure to the underlying framework of the windows operating system."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Watch out for layoffs."
What don't you like about working at NovaStor?
"Management tended to change focus every quarter. They made several bad acquisitions that diluted there focus on there core business model."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Don't lay off top engineering staff in order to save money. I was laid of with the rest of the engineering staff. Management decided to replace them with cheap developers just out of college. It took them several years to recover from that move."

"I worked with some very bright programmers and was able to learn a lot from them."

"It is out of business."
What don't you like about working at Adspace Networks?
"The heads of the company lost there vision, making it hard to focus on work."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Two CEO's is always a bad idea, there can only be one person in charge."
