"Brigham Young University Idaho has a positive and uplifting atmosphere that really encourages learning and growth. As a tutor and a TA I get to help promote that feeling while keeping my skils from previous classes sharp. I have been at the school for a couple years now and I'm glad to be ending my time here by giving back to other students in their educational goals."
"For a student job, working on campus at BYU is amazing. It would be hard to beat the convenience and flexibility of working at BYU."
"The work is great. I have learned a lot from this job. However, I need H1B."
"High standards in education as well as lifestyle."
"I've worked here for over four years. It is a great place to work, for sure. I've definitely enjoyed my time here. I am allowed to set my own pace and I get lots of freedom."
"I’ve worked for BYU-I for 5 years as a student and I was lucky to work under a supervisor that cared about meeting the personal goals of each of his producers."

What don't you like about working at Brigham Young University?
"The environment is highly authoritarian, and the faculty have very little control."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"The management needs to be more interactive with the faculty, and they need to surrender some of their power to the faculty."
"BYU- Idaho is a great organization to work for as a designer."
"I work for a professor in the Physics Department developing a website and database to create, modify, categorize, and list physics problems. As I just work for this professor, I have no workplace environment (unless my home counts). The professor and department are great, but my compensation is abysmal. If the university wanted this developed by a pro (which I technically am, but I'm also a student), then they would have to pay 10 times more per man hour."
"I've worked for BYU-Idaho for 5 years and I know that it is where I needed to be to better myself as a worker and as an individual. While there I was able to manage complex projects, teams and was given enough trust so that I could accomplish what I needed to."
