"The opputunities and the distance it takes me to get to work."

"Need to put more into tools for support and pay the technicians correctly."

"If you're bleeding edge forget it."

What don't you like about working at Brunswick?

"Management did not have a clue about the 400's capabilities. Major resistance to utilizing tools from the last 15 years. Change management, WDSC, SQL. etc..."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Dump the legecy ERP software. BOM processor is incapable of meeting requirements. Centralize purchasing and engineering departments. Too much waste in these areas."

"Constant talk about moving away from the IBM iSeries. Job security was at risk."

"Let the programmers know about future plans that involve I.T."

"Find out how the numbers are for the company before you take the job. Otherwise you may be told there's a lay off and you've only had your job 2 months!"

"See if you can hire someone before you lay them off and keep them out of a job for 18moths."

"The people, and developing other individuals that became successful"

What don't you like about working at Brunswick?

"Brunswick bought out US Marine @ 10 years ago, at first not a lot of changes occured but when they did some of the changes that were made was not from an individual that worked with us. I understood the business aspect, but it tugged at my heart in some cases."

"Train from within to promote, it gives employees hope."

"The hours at times. Needed to step in and cover for other staff around the clock."
