"There was very little opportunity of ever being promoted to senior management if you were not Japanese and you were not living in Japan with a short period of time whereby they would send people over from Japan to work in the United States for a few years and then return to Japan with a better working knowledge of how to more effectively sell, market and advertise their products which were designed for the American market.a."
