"As one of the seventeen U.S. Department of Energy laboratories, Brookhaven National Laboratory boasts world-class equipment, several Nobel Prize recipients, and a host of committed faculty members passionate about their fields. My experience was in two departments: the National Nuclear Data Center, and the Computer Science Initiative. My time with both fostered my own growth due to the time of several collaborative research scientists, and both offices proved to be very productive places to work."

"There is too much dead weight and upper management does not seem to understand how a modern institute should be run. There is very little money for competent people and the limited resources are wasted on slackers. If you want to work little and have no interest in career development, this is a great place."
