"Good company, Great people, limited opportunities and slow to promote."
"Targets seem arbitrary in comparison to what the sales team is seeing every day on the ground. Poor communication between the head office and sales team. The sales team spends days not knowing what is going on and what they are (legally) allowed to say/do when it comes to ways of working with new products. Plans are always changing to contradict the previous set of instructions resulting in having to go back and undo previous work. About half of the hired workforce in the first half of 2019 left before the year ended which did not instill faith."
"I be worked for BAT in Sudan the company was new to the country and I was mainly in charge of the HR department as HRBP my role was to help the business get the right local talent that will help grow the business ,I have learned so much during my time with the company and it was a great experience for me ."
"A great place to get noticed and move up in the organization. However, needs to adhere to a certain code, which is advancing the career of your expat line-manager. This is the largest limitations working for BAT Korea since they seem to have their personal goal in mind rather than a long lasting solution for the market."
"I've worked for BAT Korea for 4 years and have experienced a great improvement of my skills. But after the first 2 years it became clear that the managerial expat staff only have their benefits in sight rather than providing long lasting solutions in the market."
