"For the past 8 years, I've been the lead analyst responsible for supporting my entire team. Designing, developing, and deploying a modern business environment supporting a microbiology laboratory database software. Creating a lean development process using a hybrid combination of both Cpanel and VM to create a flat virtual work environment. Starting as a technical writer I quickly noticed that there wasn't a structure in place and as a team nobody knew what the others were doing. Creating a prototype to demonstrate to upper management the basic concepts. Used Tortoise SVN to manage the code merging of each three development branches. The first is for our legacy desktop application built using Visual Basic. The second is for our modern .NET Web Application built using Visual Studio in VB.NET. And, the third was for our most modern web application that was built using Visual Studio and VB.NET also. Prior to me joining the team, we had not installed our web application in any hospitals in the US. After I joined, I successfully installed, tested, and trained 22 hospitals in TN and then was asked to take over our VT project installing, testing, and training 14 hospitals. Since then, my colleague and I have added an automation software to our tools and have successfully built the first automated outbreak detection network in the US as well as created the first national data management system in the state of Vermont supporting the global surveillance of infectious diseases. I look forward to discussing details with anyone that might have questions. Good luck searching for the right candidates. I know how challenging this can be."
