"The people I work with...many have been there for their entire career. Family atmosphere."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"It is a good place to get early on the job training, but if you want to go far, get a graduate degree and plan to move to a consultant as soon as you get your pe."

What don't you like about working at State of Kansas?

"Experience levels have been steadily dropping for years. People are getting promoted and put in high positions too quickly because of lack of experienced candidates."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Be more forthcoming and honest. Let people know what is and is not within my control and be candid about it."
