"I get a sense of accomplishment, when I find a new way to improve efficiencys. I have been able to recently decrease the amount of paperwork the plants have had to do, by development of a Chemical Commodity Agreements, When I find cost savings, when I mentor a new person in how to send out RFQ's or how to negotiate and everyone comes out a winner."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"It is a older company (75 years old) that has stillthe good old boy mentality, not very forward with its thinking. It will have to adapt soon or it will not survive."
What don't you like about working at Brazos Electric Cooperative?
"There does not seem to be any empowerment allowed by employees to find new ways to improve productivity."
