"Excellent company to work for."
"Great Company to work for in all aspects!"
"Very family oriented business. Down to earth."
"During my time I have dealt with bullying, bad behavior and no proper training. Coworkers were very helpful but management was extremely poor. Always negative and no leadership skills. Pay structure and bonus package was good but there was always a way around not getting bonuses."
"Brandt is a great place to work. The compensation and benefits are competitive, and they promote from within often. It is an excellent opportunity for college students to get a foot in the door at a software development company. The main drawbacks are the aggressive deadlines for implementing software changes and the lack of communication that sometimes results from moving at such a fast pace. The leadership is aware of those issues and plans to address them."
"good company to work for and well educated."
"Thank you for your time. Have a nice day"
"I loved working here. Good people."
"Lacking in many areas"
What do you like about working at Brandt?
"There isn't much to say about enjoying this company in its current state of affairs. Perhaps if I was more inclined in the print industry, this would be a better fit, but I'm a technology person where this industry and this place of employment seem to be lacking the forward-thinking that it takes to get ahead."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Every place of work is going to have issues. That's inevitable, no matter where you go. Sometimes those issues can severely inhibit productivity and that's what I take issue with. When politics and closed-mindedness get in the way of progress, it really bothers me. That's what I would be weary of when coming to work here."
What don't you like about working at Brandt?
"My role here at this company has switched significantly from what I was originally hired to do. I no longer get to focus on my primary area of expertise and have moved into a more menial role, which is neither rewarding, nor reassuring. I often feel like many of my ideas for this company are stopped in its tracks by the owner because some of them cost money. Marketing initiatives and website content ideas often fall on deaf ears here."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Invest more time, effort, and money into giving your employees the ability to help the company and broaden your horizons a bit. Understand that it takes spending money to make money some times and that not everybody is out to get you. Trust that the people you hire are looking out for the best interest of the company."
What do you like about working at Brandt?
"The only part of my day that I enjoy would be when people leave me alone."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"keep looking for something else after your interview or even if you get hired"
What don't you like about working at Brandt?
"with three people in our department, everyone should know how to do each others job an I am the only one who can do it all when the others dont care to learn"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would have a better long term vision of the company instead of planning one year in advance."
