"I've worked for Bourns Automotive division in Auburn Hills, MI from May 2017 until the end of Decemeber 2019. Company went thru 3 management reorganization in the last 3 years. I can say that this organization was probably the most disfunctional group I ever worked for in my entire career. Relationships between departments and assigned responsibilities were not clear and obvious, typical automotive business processes and practices were not clearly defined and followed. The organization functioned nevertheless but only because of the dedication, extra effort and the spirit of colegiality shown by most of the employees."

I found the company to be compromised to the personal values, The facility located at Chihuahua, Mexico employs close to 750 employees and manufactures automotive speed sensors. This company has another 3 facilities worldwide located in Hungary, China and Tijuana, Mexico. This company is fully compromised with high-quality standards and 100% on-time delivery to his Customers."

"Bourns had great training, and some of the most decent and professional people to work with and to work for. Until they got into financial trouble, it was career bliss!"

"Speaking for myself and 4 other more recent employees, there are managers who are less than trustworthy. Would I go back Yes, because I know what I'd be getting in to. I LOVED working for this company, it remains a career highlight for me and others!"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"It is more of an HR situation, and while I was not directly affected, other friends who I have helped get hired, have had calamituous situations. When I left, it was because of an ill-trained supervisor combined with terrible financial crisis for the entire company. But the core of the company is sound, the best principles exist to this day, and just a little added control and monitoring of some entrenched management people needs to be in place."
