"Highly political and endemic federal government issues, not directly related to the employees, but to organizational rules and politics."
"I worked for BPA for 4 months during the summer of 2012 and winter of 2013. Best experience of my life! The people there are very kind and created a fun atmosphere where the time flew by and work was well, did not seem like work. Great place to be and be apart of. If you get a chance to work there, do it!! Portland also is a great place to live in, lots to do and see as well."

What don't you like about working at Bonneville Power Administration?
"One of the worst places I ever worked in over 20 years in IT. Sued them for wrongful termination and won. In regards to some new software design I introduced, a manager chastised me and told me verbatim: We are not about innovation, we are not about being the best, we are not about giving the customer what they want. Salary is awful, as you would expect with a fed agency, but benefits were awful too, which I wouldn't expect. No dental or vision."
