Founded in 1995 by Peter Bohan, who served as chairman and CEO, the company used it's proprietary BRAIN software to help clients identify and manage the risks inherent in writing home loans. Based in San Fransisco, California, but operating nationwide, The Bohan Group was one of nation's leading providers of support services to the mortgage industry.

Working closely with strategic partners, such as First American CoreLogic and BasePoint Analytics, Bohan's analysts used the power of their BRAIN packages to assist lenders in identifying loans that were a high fraud risk, allowing them to take appropriate action before defaults occured. Working with some of the nation's top mortgage lenders, Bohan managed over 6,000 transactions accounting for nearly $400 billion in loans.
