"I only worked for Boart Longyear for 1.5 years. I found that they wanted to improve though I found it very difficult to do so. Though they excelled at their primary revenue-generating role of drilling, they lacked the expertise on the business management side to run a profitable business."

"Good company with great employees. Senior management is full of GE leftovers that are unaccomplished want-to-be leaders. Prospective employees should demand top dollar due to the fact that this company disposes of people with little regard. This is done for short term cost savings while they continue to treat themselves to first class travel and significant bonuses. Treat this company as if they are hiring you as a contract employee."
