"Chapman BMW on Camelback is a great workplace. The people there are very friendly (for the most part). Everyone seems to get along very well. The GM is great, friendly, and easy to talk to. The Service Manager is a completely different story though. Overall, the people are great which makes it a nice place to work."

"I felt a great sense of pride working for BMW and creating such quality products. The people and working environment are very supportive and there are almost unlimited resources."

"Great interview process with tour of plant. Very informal interview process that simply seeks to get to know you and introduce you to potential managers."

What don't you like about working at BMW?

"Extremely difficult and lengthy process for implementing new strategies. Lack of respect and trust for non-German employees. Very little room for promotion."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Management is great, but the German headquarters should allow more control of the plant to be done from within. Headquarters does not seem to fully understand the needs/trust management at the manufacturing plant."

"No, Just one you always hire your self and you always fire your self so what this means is you have to be on your toes at all time and deliver the product and services to the best of your ability"

"the long hours and weekends that it took to get it all started , but in the end it all worked out for the best."

"save the application for the other dealers in the area. Beverly Hills BMW runs a better shop."

"Many negative attitudes from the top down. The advisor pay plan is far below market average. - very little good to say other than the service director was awsome."

"If you show little regard for your customers, and less for your employees, it becomes increasingly difficult to one to do more than leave."

"it is a well run company with good feeling between departments"

"fill out the company application first and know that your interview is very likely to be performed by a female. This dealership has more women managers than most. It is a good company and it is still run by the Smith family."

"we were required to manipulate the system to maintain high customer satisfaction scores"

"honesty and integrity will create loyal customers. People can buy parts and repairs any where. They are loyal to people they like and that they trust. Always focus on the relationship with the client."

"I do not enjoy being a contractor through another company, and prefer full time employment."

"None. Management has been great, though they would do well to spend more time with the indoctrination of new employees."

"There is someone watching over you all the time, there is a lack of group support, especially in sales. There is quota's to achieve and sometimes I come up short and there is no support"

"I would not micro manager my co-workers, or make them feel as if they are in the military"

"make the boss man fall in love with you. be a quite female who bows down to men."

"The boss man over looks every little detail and has so much negative things to say when really he could focus else where and make the place better"

"The CEO wants all the right things but the manager right above me only watches out for himself"

"make the boss man happy act like a ditzy female who bows down to man"

"every little mistake is brought up even things that don't really matter. its frustrating when there is bigger better things to worry about but we waste so much time on pointless things."

"not so many favorites. I would have positive reinforcement instead of negative. focus on bringing the team together instead of turning us on each other."

"The company was immense with numerous departments. Although the department I was working in was small I would have liked a more personal company overall."

"Management should always be interested in their employees just as much as their clients. In order to do so a manager must be sure to make his/her employees feel welcomed and needed."
