"When I first started it was very uptight and serious atmosphere, but everyone welcomed my warm and outgoing personality and it is a lot more fun to be there now."

"It is a friendly and fun place to work at no matter which department to go to work for. Be aware of the opportunities you will have withing your department to develop your skills and grow before you make a choice."

What don't you like about working at Bluegreen Corporation?

"I don't like the fact that there is no room to grow financially or professionally. If my position is compared with the same at other Resorts, we have the same load of work but not a comparable compensation plan."

"They need to learn some more about managing people and not just an office. It is important at the management level to have better people skills."

"The company moves departments around like a game of chess. NOISY place to work. and kind of like a game of survivor or Big Brother."

"They claim to be one of the top companies to work for BUT they audit the employees by intimidation. The employees have to fill out online surveys they say are anonymous but when you associate the employee ID number to the survey they also know who it came from."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"At the time of employment, the IT Dept. needed major improvements. The management staff had NO management skills."

"Don't fall for the scam that you will make great money with little sales experience, if you are a great salesperson you will have a great time and make a lot of money."

"From what I have seen they hire almost everyone that comes though the door."

"I have seen 3 managers come and go that were all hired for outside of the company, even though they said that they hire from within."

"If you're in you're early 20's it would be ok, but I know they shout down the operation for package sales in the Northeast and actually all over the country."

"everything, management was awful, they stuck you in a location without any market research and expected to see results!"

"First run a market research to have an idea of what the potential is. Have a game plan of how to achieve goals and objectives. And definitely have contracts with resorts in the local area such as, Cape Cod, New Hampshire, Maine and the Islands. Therefore the salespeople will have a chance at making some sales."

"I didn't work at the call center, I worked at the corporate office. What I liked about Bluegreen Corporation is that the company rewarded employees (overall)."

"Empower employees and increase morale so that customers will be happy."
