"The hours and locations, some are out of my reach, even by public transportation."

"You just recently went back to 5 day rental. You used to have 10 days from the day it was due to return it. Most consumers liked that and now that you have shortened it from 10 to 5 a lot of people are going with either Netflix or Red Box, you have no one to blame but yourself."

What do you like about working at Blockbuster?

"My favorite aspect of this job was dealing directly with the customers. I am cool under pressure when dealing with angry customers but am in my element when simply helping customers leave the store happy."

"The basic tip for interviewing with Blockbuster is to just be normal. They tend to attract the underbelly of society but even though they don't mind if you have tattoos and piercings and dyed hair, they expect you to be intelligent and have common sense."

What don't you like about working at Blockbuster?

"The worst aspect of the job was the low pay coupled with the lack of employee loyalty. In this economic climate along with their own specific situation financially, they just want as many low pay employees as possible."

"Some of the customers are really strange; they can make strange demands that don't make sense of a video store."
