"I worked for BLKDG as a UX/UI Designer for 6 months from April to October 2019. During that time I was responsible for creating and designing solutions for a number of clients. This work manifested as sitemaps, wireframes, hifi designs, branded collateral, etc... I enjoyed my time there, the coworkers, and the culture. I was let go due for reasons still partially unknown to me. My boss (the CEO, Jonathan) stated it was not due to any work or performance issues, he instead stated that he didn't want to keep me from my other passions. This was after we had reached a point of tension in a client project where I did what the client asked instead of doing what my boss asked, and he let me go the next day. Felt very personal and unprofessional."
