"Blink fitness is a great company to work for, it’s culture and professional environment aligns itself with my values. The health fitness industry has been a great part of my life, the main core value is to help people be the best life has to offer. Management truly believes in this and they help all their employees live this goal."

"Customer service means going above and beyond to keep the customer happy, whether that means answering any questions they have or resolving issues with a positive attitude. Customer satisfaction is the top priority, and hopefully creating loyal, returning customers. I feel like this will resonate well with me because it can be applied to all facets of the workplace"

"This company does not offer career growth. So far they only promoted 2 MODs who are now Club Managers and the only reason they got that position is because they speak Spanish and Blink put in these urban places. They continue to hire people from Planet Fitness or the sports club to run these facilities when they say they promote within. They have a club manager on 125th street location that sleeps with practically every member and yet they still employ her. This company is a great one but they need a 360 change in management. I never seen so many issues with any company I worked for. If you're looking for something temporary this is the place. they hire you full time with part time hours only to save them money. This is not a long term career. I've been with Blink x amount of years and It took me till a lot to get the position I have and no matter how much are on time or how hard you work they will never promote you higher then MOD."

What don't you like about working at Blink Fitness?

"Low wage/ so I have to work another job/ repetitive work/ alot of maintenance/ no training/ little communication/ they don't always pay me for the hours they ask me to work/ no health benefits offered/ no scheduled lunch or 15 rest breaks so you are on your feet the entire time/ bends policies to suit needs."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Better communication between managment and staff/ staff and staff/ Hire Maintenance that can lift more than 30 pounds. Return phone calls and emails. Fix employee problems in a timely fashion eg. No cashier code for six months/ no punch in code...worked Memorial day and still have not been paid. If people don't show up consistently give them a write up and if it continues fire them. If an employee comes to work intoxicated they should be let go."
