"I have worked with this company for 10 years, I found the owners and their beliefs very ethical, they never crossed the line. It was high volume at first being a Federal contractor, then it evened out. We had catered lunches, corn hole tournaments, halloween and Christmas events, we had a good culture and camaraderie."

"I've worked at BLB for over 5 years. Management is decent, people are hard-working, management is usually able to accommodate in case anything may arise. As long as you are able to do what is expected of you, it's pretty smooth sailing. However, not many chances for upward advancement."

"Having worked at BLB I am amazed at the reviews, it is a small company and the management has treated people very well for a federal contractor. The work environment is nice and the people come from all walks of life. The turnover rate prior to layoffs was very low which contradicts those above. One must assume those above were terminated, especially if blaming the HR person. Compensation is above what I've seen in the industry."

"I have worked with BLB Resources since 2011. They were at first a new asset management company with HUD with newly acquired assets and all the promise in the world. As time went by it came apparent that management was under the impression that the company would have more inventory to sell than it does. This has basically caused a few layoffs and a very apparent "ceiling" that one may not cross."

What don't you like about working at BLB Resources?

"Stressful, negative environment. Managers play favorites, gossip about employees, no direct communication, very hostile work environment. No work/ life balance. Hire people with no experience or applicable background. Discriminate and harass. Was the worst company I ever worked for. Too much micromanagement, and upper management was the worst, incompetent and inexperienced. People promoted based on friendships."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Get rid of most of the managers;(HR director as well) and bring in people with strong leadership skills and integrity. It will help morale, which is currently very bad."
