"I have worked for BioMarin for six and half years and found the work very fulfilling. As the company has moved from a small to mid-size company, the politics has gotten worse and those of us who have been around from the beginning are finding it harder to stay. I love the people I work with and I truly hope management can figure out a way to retain the dynamic and ambitious employees and not settle for those who simply abide the changing culture. "Great place, mostly hiring temp workers"

"I did learn a lot but I was a temp in two different jobs there. The message I got was "we're growing, we've been promised head count" but the reality was we're in debt, we're not profitable, we need to focus on our critical programs versus growing. While they have a lot of potential, my timing was off. It was a good experience here but I am done being a temp/contractor."
