What do you like about working at Billings Clinic?

"I appreciate that I have a manager who is easy to get along with and will try to be flexible with meeting your needs when person issues outside of work arise. I love that I only have to be at work three days a week to get my full time status in as I need those four days to be away from stress and demands. I also love that I every pay period I acquire PTO to use as I would like."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Try to get as many perks as you can right off the bat because once you get into the system you get lost among all the other employees and get little advancement opportunities or raises."

What don't you like about working at Billings Clinic?

"You don't get recognized or compensated for being a good, hard, efficient worker, but rather get rewarded more for just being part of committees and organizations. We rarely seem to get evaluated on what we do well as employees. Its most often focused on what how we can do better. It seems they say the value you as a customer but when it comes down to it, they don't put their money where their mouth is. In other words, many people there are underpaid for the years of experience they have and what kind of valuable resource they are to the facility. That's why it seems we cant seem to keep experienced older RN's in the facility."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would make sure those that volunteered to do more than what was expected in their job description got recognized and compensated for it right away at the time they did it."
