"Continue the patient centered care and help those staff members that are in need of further guidance."

"Love Bethesda , people are great, but openings are very infrequent as people are loving staying."

What do you like about working at Bethesda Hospital?

"The people are genuine and the small town feel is warm. It is not part of a large chain and it's policies reflect a personal touch/connection. I have lived in the area for many years and feel it reflects the community needs well. The policy to promote from within is great, but I would like to move up a little faster!"

What don't you like about working at Bethesda Hospital?

"The management does not turn over, as they love their jobs and it is a small intimate workplace. I would prefer to remain here if there were opportunity. It is not a dislike , it is an assessment of reality for relative newcomer."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"They are moving in the right direction electronically and the computer system for nursing is very safe for medication administration. I see that magnet status for nursing is a real possibility. I would love to see a teaching hospital at Bethesda for all disciplines. It would liven up the community. I would like more community outreach programmes to be offered through local schools."
