"I've worked in the entertainment and telecommunications industry for over 10 years. I received my best on the job training at Black Entertainment Television. They prepared me to be very creative when selling content in a highly competitive industry. I had to do my market research on the client before presenting the network. Wow, I will never forgot when I launched BET in Cheyenne, Wyoming and beat out AMC. This marketplace had 2% African American demographics and Comcast launched us!"

"I began working at BET Networks in 1994 and was successfully promoted to regional director in 2000. I was responsible for getting the networks launched throughout the Western Region. I was named Salesperson of the Year for 5 years in row. I did such a great job getting BET Networks fully distributed that I assisted with eliminating my own department. The company was purchased by VIACOM and there was not need to have double operations servicing the same territories in the region."
