"The O.A. title needs to be changed. It is currently Operator Assistant which is seriously misleading. Operators are entry level packers and an O.A. is not. The O.A. is responsible for conducting operator breaks and lunches with the Print Tech, trend verification, restarting the printer when it goes down ( operators will just stand there) label changes and filling out the required paperwork, scrap reports and any other duties assigned by Leadership. We are asked to ensure compliance but when we report noncompliance nothing happens. Operations Assistant is more like it. Operator Assistant doesn’t look good on a resume."
