"The company has a great work schedule based here in the smaller town of 3,500 people. The company is older so sometimes it is hard to change old ways when it comes to updating policies and procedures. Overall the people are nice and you definitely feel valued as an employee if you are truly working hard."
"I've worked with BD since 2016 and have held numerous roles in the company. The company is a leading manufacturer of medical delivery devices, and the leadership is very invested in growing talent along with the company. Although the local manufacturing unit leadership is a bit conservative in their approach, they are all invested in making the business and the overall company bottom-line a success, while maintaining the highest ethical and quality standards."
"BD's 70,000+ employees believe in the mission of Advancing the World of Health. The knowledge that we help patients around the work is the most gratifying aspect of working for BD. The culture is very conservative, but this is expected for a 120-year-old company that prioritizes the quality of its products."
"I worked at Apple in Sunnyvale, California in 2019, and really enjoyed the office climate and design team members. Together we worked to drive UX team to align with process, guides, and standards.I highly recommend working at Apple."
"this was one of the best companies I have ever worked for. The location is perfect the people are down to earth and treated me great. They are very welcoming and treat you like family. I was under a contract for one year it got extended for six more months. Currently waiting to see if I will get hired on or get another contract extension. By the rules and guide lines they can only re-new contracts twice. I had a wonderful time and enjoyed working here. Everyday was great and I enjoyed every minute."
"I love working at BD. It’s supportive, fast paced and you have so much fun doing your job!"
"BD is a great company with many different opportunities for growth."
"The processes tend to be bloated and at the expense of productivity. Also, the company culture is a crapshoot. I believe BD means well, but doesn't do well of consistently celebrating and creating spaces that facilitate team-building, knowledge sharing, etc. Ongoing siloed work is not uncommon."
"BD really is a great place to work. The selection of new employees shows that BD looks for a good cultural fit, potential, and skills; this makes on-boarding smooth, for both parties. There is plenty of room for growth and you learn something new every day."
"BD cares a lot for its employees and always makes the work place a fun, engaging environment."
