Working at BearingPoint in Miami, FL: 2 Employee Reviews

Administrative Assistant

"KPMG was a great place to work; however, have changed in the past couple of years."

Practice Manager

"Loved working with very brilliant people, travel was Sunday night through Friday night 50 weeks a year except when I was too far from home to come home."

What do you like about working at BearingPoint?

"Loved working with brilliant people. Some consulting firms want to milk their clients. At Bearing Point, I could actually work to finish projects"

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Say you want to see the world, love working very long hours and never met an airport you didn't like."

What don't you like about working at BearingPoint?

"Travel was a bit excessive because each partner was their own P&L. IE had to travel thousands of miles for jobs when local branch had openings they were trying to fill. I averaged 60 billable hours per week plus another 20 - 40 hours a week in airports. Bearing Point has gone bankrupt."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Need to change business model to incorporate additional opportunities - lower margin on sales. Need to be much more patient with sales people in building long term relationships."
