What do you like about working at Broadcasting Board of Governors?

"The work I do is interesting and has potential impact. The mission of the agency is one that I support and take pleasure in assisting."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Have a strong individual work ethic and commitment to the mission. Don't anticipate camaraderie or a cushy environment."

What don't you like about working at Broadcasting Board of Governors?

"This place has no idea where it is going. We are stuck in a dysfunctional situation, that we've failed to manage well in the past decade and don't have any new ideas for managing now. There is little willingness by leadership to take charge of a problem and fix it."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Use my authority and make decisions. I would restructure the entire organization to put a full time person in charge, rather than the current decentralized authority structures."
