"Barton associates are not for the faint of heart. You must be able to take critique constantly internally and externally. Your timing must be good with clients and if you lack charisma or ambition, this won’t be the job for you. It’s demanding and saturated and difficult to put a deal together with credentialing at a hospital and insurance enrollment for the doctors we staff. I was fortunate to have a lucrative, successful career here. Pay is good if deals are going through and you’re able to maintain client relationships. However, I am part of a small majority. Retention is a major issue at Barton, and because of turnover, especially lately, our physician network is beginning to give us less consideration. It eventually led to me leaving the company. As an account person, it’s extremely annoying to have 10-12 searches out with no candidates to present to the client."
"Its an I think an overall great workplace for people who are interested in a fast-paced agency environment specifically in the healthcare industry."
"Barton is a barrier to healthcare for the vulnerable and disparate. Unethical. Unjust. Immoral.I would love to work in this destitute area, I am qualified and desire this. But Barton says 'no raise', 'no equitable pay' and 'no contract release' because of their corporate greed. So in honoring the contract, I am unable to deliver healthcare to this community."
