Director of Marketing

"Barter is a complex organization. Working in the marketing department was incredibly frustrating. We were never given the budget for advertising or approval to hire the hands required to attract the number of patrons needed to cover production costs. Production costs for shows caused ticket prices to be too high for the average person in the region. Having raised concerns about ticket prices, I was met with "our art is too valuable to lower prices". The organization as a whole needs a revamp and to refocus on it's original mission, as a theatre for the people of Appalachia."
