"I loved the customers and sales. 6 yrs ago this company was the best place to work. Then they sold it, and all the good people were replaced with people who did not know anything about BBQ's."

"There are much better company's to work for!"

What don't you like about working at Barbeques Galore?

"I worked here for 5 yrs. The new owners are DUMB and I do mean DUMB. they all came from circuit city and we all know what they turned out to be (OUT OF BUSINESS). Turns out BBQ went BANKRUPT as well. They fired all there good sales team and replaced them with ROBOTS with a script to read. It's to bad, this place was great when Sid Kim owned it. He wont even talk about how bad this company is now, it saddens him to much. DO NOT WORK HERE NOW!!!!! Unless you want to sell products that the company cannot even get in stock to sell. Special orders take months to get in because this company cannot pay its bills, even after the bankruptcy. What a joke! Oh by the way you will work at least 60+ Hrs here now, 7 days a week maybe 1 day off every other week. Run away as fast as you can."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Don;t force you sales staff to sell by a scripts (GREAT). they demand you go by this GREAT sales script that does not work. If you don't you will be written up and dealt with in the end losing your job. They want you to lie to customers about stock issue including BBQ and replacement parts. Customers still come in asking for parts and the pore sales team has to lie saying there coming when they are not! Pay your bill BBQ Galore and then you will get the parts your customers want. But first there are at least 5 pages of customers waiting for that exact same part you want so get in line and maybe 2 yrs from now you will get your replacement burners for your Turbo grill. Until then go buy a weber gas grill from OSH."
