"I've been working for Wake Forest Baptist Health since 2003. I have worked in many different departments over the years. I started out working in the laundry and moved up to the OR where I was an instrument tech and now I'm an Inpatient Surgical Tech. I have picked up these new jobs without knowing what I was doing. I learn fast and it takes no time for me to pick up the new job type."

"I really enjoyed learning much about specialized medical care and manangement."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"If you are lazy, not self driven, and really do not enjoy working with a team, than this is not the right job."

What don't you like about working at Baptist Hospital?

"I did not enjoy working in an area that was as confined as the unit, simplpy because I like to see more sunlight at work, even if it's through a window."

"Continue to reach out to your employees as part of the team in terms of imput for suggestions on customer satisfaction"
