"I worked for Banner Lassen Medical Center which is located in a small, rural town and it was the only hospital within out system located with California which made it difficult at times to get the headquarters hospital in Arizona to understand some of the challenges that you faced with different state requirements. It was a great place to work and the people were amazing."
"The company used to be a better organization to work for and grow with before they got greedy and cut numerous positions and great benefit offerings. Things are ugly there now, and it is a company that I cannot trust anymore. The years between 2005 and 2010 were the best years this company had to offer its employees. It seems to be on a path of self-destruction! Too bad, it used to be such a great company."
"Banner does not do things compliantly and perfers people to be Bannerized which means turning a blind eye and a deaf ear to compliance and hiring processes. They are not HIPAA compliant and although they speak of work/life balance the amount of hours you have to work does not allow for same. There is a culture of cronyism and nepotism, If you disagree with upper management, even with documentation to support your stance, you are immediately chastized and set up to fail."
"Like most large companies Banner uses temp and contract workers for large projects and to reduce costs."
"It was a great opportunity to grow, learn, and apply my skills."
