"The corporate knee-jerk reaction to monthly -- and quite often more frequent than that -- financial reports that often resulted in our hands being tied in our pursuit and presentation of the news and all too often resulted in staff reductions."

"Refrain from damaging the product whenever cost reductions are sought. Rather, increase pressure on revenue-producing divisions."
