"Ball Aerospace has great work and home balances with the individual at the front with education opportunities and personal reconciliation. Working with state of the art technology and equipment to move Ball into space and beyond."
"Ball aerospace is growing very quickly and has grown from 2500 to 5500 employees in the last 4 years. This presents a massive challenge and only a company with strong management skills could pull this off. The company is so poorly managed that it is in react and fire fighting mode and doesn't make an effort to consider systemic and strategic directional changes to sustain continued growth. The line about having to "wear multiple hats" at a smaller company is true. Expect to wear 5 hats at Ball."
"Ball is a great place to work with a good company culture. If you are driven there will be many opportunities for you to grow your career. The programs are awesome and allow you the opportunity to learn the technicality and complexity associated with them. Why wouldn't you want to see your cool work go to into space!?"
"Ball Aerospace is a great company to work for overall. I would recommend working for this organization depending on your role. As an intern, I just felt like I was doing busy work for the most part and didn't particularly enjoy working remotely. I wish I had the chance to meet my team better and get to know them better. Overall good experience though!"
"Great Company, Great Benefits."
"It was an awesome experience overall."
"Ball Aerospace is an excellent company that does comprehensive work in the field of aerospace and does an amazing job at it! The community and the people that work there are a combination of extremely talented at what they do, empathetic, and just the right amount of weird!"
"I’ve worked for Ball Aerospace for a little less than a year and while the people are fantastic and there are brilliant engineers working there the management leaves a lot to be desired. I was originally hired by the lidar deep learning team to head there Flash Lidar deep learning research but was moved to a different project the day before I started. This was done because management justified it as dollars on the table since any engineer would be billed directly to our customer on this contract. I wasn’t allowed to move or work on what I was hired to for this reason I’m looking for other work. If you get places on a project you want it’s fantastic and you’ll work with brilliant people in a good atmosphere but beware fiefdoms and middle management."
"Ball Aerospace is going through a lot of growing pains."
"Just another defense contractor that does some science and other cool things. Aside from the coolness aspect of working on Space (if you're lucky to get one of those projects), there's nothing special anymore."
"Great place to learn in early career. Very little advancement opportunity at mid-career level. Current sr. management team is a mess."
"the work was fantastic"
