"The job is to make 50 calls. That's it. 50 calls. And make sure you hit your numbers. And get at least 20% new customers. And go after contractors. And distributors hate you because you go direct. And contractors don't buy steadily."
What don't you like about working at Aztec Products?
"I am a salesman for a large territory but my job is to make phone calls for sales. The database of customers hasn't been updated in years and the customers we deal with don't want to hear anything from us anymore."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Open up our job description and allow the sales team to broaden there horizons. Manage production to allow each product to be in stock rather than made when ordered."
