"I've worked for aya for around 6 months at this point (13 week contract and 2 extensions). I loved my recruiter's ability to find a job that fit my needs and location preferences. However, when I showed up to the job it was not the same job as advertised and after the first contract ended they added another job location. I don't mind, it's definitely interesting work...but it feels like once they place you with a hospital/organization they don't have control over what the job is or if it is changed."

"I've worked at Aya Healthcare for a little over 2 years. You're surrounded by hard working indivduals that have played a huge role in Aya's 25% growth this past year. Working for one of the largest and fasting growing healthcare staffing companies instills positive values and character as an individual. The company values each employee and views them as a part of their family for life. Being in a sales environment will always take hard work to achieve your goals, but you have people in your corner that encourage you and create the stepping stones to get where you want to be."

"Ask for a written confirmation of review. They do not have anything in place with means you never get to grow."

"I’ve worked for AYa for one year. It can be very frustrating when it is an on-call situation. Most managers at UCI want to pre-book the on-call nurse. Aya has made that very difficult. However, the managers at UCI have been extremely helpful in getting the training that all nurses need to help the team at UCI and prebook when it’s possible (more than 90% of the time ). Nurse shortages are real and to be on call everyday is unnecessary. As I worked closely with the nurses and the charge nurses as well as managers, I really want to make a difference in any position that can be filled with a permanent solution. There are tremendous amounts of talented nurses who can be a permanent employee Including the front desk person who checks in the patient to the person who cares for the patient onto the doctors and emergency rooms."
