"If you enjoy teaching and helping students understand different subject. This job is a great way to get classroom experience."

"I didn't like about the company was the hours and the amount of time I got to help my students."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"The only suggestions I would make to management is to keep things consist and holding all policy up."

"I loved working as an AVID Tutor. My kids were amazing and it was a good learning experience."
What do you like about working at Avid Technology?
"Getting the teaching experience I needed while I was still in college. I loved working with the students and helping them throughout their high school careers."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Be ready to push the students in picking better questions and have them pick questions they seriously don't know the answer to. Students love to just sit back and talk during tutorials and therefore pick easy questions they already know how to solve. You need to make sure that they really have trouble with a question before letting them try to solve it."
What don't you like about working at Avid Technology?
"I wish I would have been able to work more than the two days a week. I also wish I would have been able to stay longer."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"My management was amazing. The only suggestion I have is to allow tutors to stay after they have graduated college."
