"I started working at AutoZone as a part-time parts delivery driver/customer sales representative in late 2019. I was looking for an upgrade from my previous employer due to insufficient hours. I saw AutoZone as a perfect opportunity to expand my knowledge in automotive vehicles. Since starting at this company, I certainly got what I wanted and learned a great deal about cars and their numerous components. I knew little to nothing about cars starting out. The management their is very friendly, helpful, and make sure safety is ensured. The hours are plentiful and the pay is enough for the duties performed."

What do you like about working at AutoZone?

"Gave me the basic understanding and tools to progress in the automotive parts field. I now work for a Auto Parts Manufacture doing some pretty interesting things."

"All you need to do is show up. They pretty much hire any idiot off the street."

What don't you like about working at AutoZone?

"This is more of a sales oriented place. All management cares about is if you sell Product of the month. The hours and pay suck for part time workers."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Be more like a parts store. Not this cookie cutter Wal-Mart crap. Be a real parts store. Not just a sales driven conglomerate. Also hire people with some sort of automotive experience. Too many salesman and Wal-Mart greeters...And people wonder why they get the wrong parts. Pay More=Better/Knowledgeable workers!"
