"My experience with AT&T have broadened my knowledge more so, after working with Verizon for 9 years. Both companies have indoctrinated me with mental tool capacity in the fields, in which were slightly different than both training they had. Our supervisors with my co workers work in unison to accomplish the projects as a team"

"AT&T is a good company."

"Pay was nice. However, I lost my position because of seniority rules when the union took the position over. Also, senior management had no compassion for the product or for the employee."

What do you like about working at AT&T?

"I liked the pay and my coworkers. I liked that I was trusted with a company vehicle, and also had a chance to build a good rapport with several customers."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Don't get your hopes up. The pay is nice, but the company just does not respect its field technicians in a way that allows you to stay positive in both your personal and professional life."

What don't you like about working at AT&T?

"I did not like the union taking over and forcing me out of my position. I also did not like working a 40 hour week, and then being told with 2 hours notice that all days off were canceled. The communication just was not there."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I think that management should defend their employees more. If an employee is responsible for the installation or repairing of something, they should be able to get a minimum of 8 hours of sleep on the night before returning to work. If they work until 2 AM and have to be back at 7 AM, that is not right."
