What do you like about working at AT&T?

"The best things about AT&T are the people that I work with and the opportunity to help customers."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"If you like to be micromanaged, be unappreciated, have no job growth, or face unreasonable expectations, this is the job for you. Otherwise, run while you still can."

What don't you like about working at AT&T?

"The company has no clear focus for customer satisfaction. There are unreasonable metrics at work that bind agents' hands while helping customers. Interdepartmental cooperation is non-existent, and upper management is way out of touch with reality."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"If I were a manager, I'd make sure that the front-line employees are listened to and that real tools and metrics are developed to help satisfy the customers."

What do you like about working at AT&T?

"Nothing, except some of my co workers. I know jobs are scarce but I would never go back to work at AT&T. It was the worst job experience I have ever had in my life with an employer. I have worked for some great companies and AT&T was the absolute worst."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Run away as fast has you can. Trust me, you'll wish you would have after a week. I thought it was a good co. to work for too, until I worked there... I hate to say I told you so... you were warned!"

What don't you like about working at AT&T?

"AT&T is not a good place to work if you have a life or family. AT&T is not flexible with its employees. I felt like a slave. AT&T is always changing job policies for employees, making the job harder than it should be. AT&T union is a joke. All AT&T employees are stressed out to the max and AT&T does not care how hard you work. They find fault in everything you do, you never hear when you're doing good. What I remember is turning around in my cubical and seeing my coworker so stressed out tears were running down her face. A lot of people just quit or walked off the job when I was there."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Treat people like humans not slaves, be more flexible with your employees, you want your employees to be flexible. Hire people who are manager and people qualified. Don't put people in management positions because they're your friends. It's not right, it's favoritism. Those of us who have college educations and work hard to be in management did not stand a chance. I never seen anything like it before in my life. One hot mess."
